Ukraine’s leading institution for graduate economics education

Founded in 1996 by the Economics Education and Research Consortium (EERC) and the Eurasia Foundation, the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) is a leading institution dedicated to building the intellectual foundation for a strong and innovative economy in Ukraine.

KSE offers a range of internationally accredited degree programs, including bachelor's and master's degrees in economics, business, public policy, and governance. The curriculum is modeled on North American and Western European standards, with instruction in English by faculty holding PhDs from top global universities. Notably, KSE has an agreement with the University of Houston, allowing graduates to receive an MA in economics from there in addition to their KSE diploma.

Beyond education, KSE is a hub for economic research and policy advice through its KSE Institute, one of the largest think tanks in Ukraine. The Institute specializes in analytics, consulting, and developing strategies to support Ukraine's economic development.

The CERGE-EI Foundation has been a longstanding partner of KSE, supporting its mission through the Teaching Fellows Program.
