In 2026, CERGE-EI marks 35 years of its founding under the tagline "35 Years of Ideas That Matter", celebrating the institute’s role in integrating graduate teaching and frontier research in economics. There is a series of CERGE-EI Anniversary events throughout 2026, with key celebrations taking place in Prague over the weekend of 28-30 May 2026, bringing together the CERGE-EI community, partners, policymakers, philanthropic leaders, and distinguished guests — including 2025 Nobel laureate in Economics Professor Philippe Aghion.
The CERGE-EI Foundation is proud to recognize the supporters whose contributions made the Anniversary celebrations possible and whose support extends to funding critical research, create opportunities for talented students and faculty, and strengthen our mission to build evidence-based economic thinking throughout the region. We are deeply grateful to everyone who chose to mark this anniversary alongside us.
